A PWK Student from the Faculty of Engineering at Unhas Wins First Place Nationally at the 4th EKKN 2026 at Tidar University
Magelang – Students from the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University have once again achieved a remarkable feat. A team of students from the Department of Regional and Urban Planning (PWK) won First Place in the Snacks and Wet Snacks Category at the 4th National Entrepreneurship Expo and Competition (EKKN) 2026, held by Tidar University in Magelang, Central Java, on June 10–11, 2026.
The winning team consisted of A. Walimatussadiyah Mansyur and Siti Aulia Felinda Wijaya, students in the Regional and Urban Planning (PWK) program, class of 2023, under the guidance of Ir. Dewa Sagita Alfadin Nur, S.T., M.T. This success demonstrates that students from the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering not only excel in academics and regional planning but are also capable of showcasing creativity, innovation, and competitiveness in the field of entrepreneurship.
The competition was part of the 4th National Entrepreneurship Expo and Competition (EKKN) 2026, which brought together students from various universities across Indonesia to showcase their best products, exchange experiences, and develop entrepreneurial networks. This year’s event featured approximately 170 booths from 24 universities across Indonesia, making it one of the largest national student entrepreneurship events.
During the two-day competition, the PWK FT-UH student team successfully captured the judges’ attention through the quality of their product, innovative processing methods, marketing strategies, and a well-developed business presentation. Thanks to their outstanding performance, the team won First Place in the Snacks and Wet Snacks Category, outperforming participants from other universities across Indonesia.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University expressed appreciation and pride in the achievements of these PWK students. This achievement demonstrates that students of the Faculty of Engineering possess multidisciplinary skills that extend beyond academic fields; they are also capable of developing innovative entrepreneurial potential that benefits society.
It is hoped that this success will inspire other students to continue excelling, develop creative ideas, and actively participate in various competitions at both the national and international levels. Furthermore, this achievement further strengthens the commitment of Hasanuddin University’s Faculty of Engineering to produce outstanding, innovative, and entrepreneurial graduates who are ready to face the challenges of the future.
