FTUH Wins the Award for Best Faculty in Student Achievement at UNHAS
The UNHAS Faculty of Engineering received the award for Faculty with the Best Student Achievements at the 2022 Hasanuddin University Student Achievement Awards Ceremony. The UNHAS Student Achievement Awards is an annual event organized by the UNHAS Academic and Student Affairs Division, which in 2022 was held at the UNHAS Hotel & Convention on December 17, 2022.
In his remarks, UNHAS Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. drg. Muhammad Ruslin, M.Kes., Ph.D., Sp.BM(K), stated that the award for the Best Faculty category was based on the cumulative student achievements of each faculty at UNHAS attained by students throughout 2022, with the evaluation based on the technical guidelines for student achievements issued by the Director General of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, which employs a weight-based assessment method using the Multi-Criteria Achievement framework. The Dean of the UNHAS Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr.Eng. Ir. Muhammad Isran Ramli, ST., MT., IPM., ASEAN.Eng., in his remarks, joyfully welcomed the achievement of being named the Faculty with the Best Student Achievements at UNHAS. Furthermore, Prof. Isran expressed his high appreciation for the outstanding achievements made by the students of the UNHAS Faculty of Engineering throughout 2022. This “Best Faculty” award was earned thanks to the hard work, high spirits, and motivation of UNHAS Faculty of Engineering students, who have long been known for their slogans “keep fighting till the end” and “we are the champions”—reflecting their commitment to striving relentlessly until the very end to be the best in every aspect of competition.
Prof. Isran also expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to all FT UNHAS faculty members who assisted the students in their preparation and participation in the various competitions they entered. Prof. Isran also expressed his appreciation to all department heads and the FTUH Dean’s Office, as well as the leadership of Hasanuddin University, for providing moral and material support to FT UNHAS students participating in intercollegiate competitions at the local, regional, national, and international levels.
At the 2022 UNHAS Student Awards Night, the Dean of FTUH was accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of FTUH, Dr. Ir. Amil Ahmad Ilham, ST, MIT, and the Student Affairs Manager of FTUH, Hamzah, ST, MT. At the event, the Director of Student Affairs and Career Preparation at UNHAS, Abdullah Sanusi, SE., MBA, Ph.D., noted that this award marks the second consecutive year—following the 2021 win—that the UNHAS Faculty of Engineering has secured and retained the Rotating Trophy as the Faculty with the Best Student Achievements within Hasanuddin University.
