Management Review Meeting of the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University
Gowa, March 17, 2025 – The Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University (Unhas) held a Management Review Meeting (RTM), organized by the Quality Assurance and Reputation Enhancement Task Force, on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Unhas Faculty of Engineering Exhibition Hall. The event was attended by the Dean, Vice Dean, Chair and Secretary of the Quality Assurance and Reputation Enhancement Task Force (GPMPR), Department Chairs and Secretaries, Study Program Chairs, Chairs of the Study Program Quality Assurance Units, the Head of the Administrative Division, and Subdivision Heads.
The RTM is a crucial component of the PPEPP cycle (Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement), which serves as the primary framework for the higher education quality assurance system. Within this cycle, the RTM functions as the control mechanism, ensuring that the implementation of academic and administrative programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Unhas, aligns with established quality standards. Through this forum, the findings of the internal quality audit were analyzed in depth, enabling them to be followed up with strategic steps for continuous improvement and enhancement.
Last year’s RTM had a positive impact on quality improvement at the Unhas Faculty of Engineering. This is reflected in the significant improvement seen in most study programs, which achieved better scores in the internal quality audit results. This improvement demonstrates the Faculty of Engineering at Unhas’s commitment to enhancing academic quality and achieving higher quality standards.
On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Unhas, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Isran Ramli, expressed his hope that this year’s RTM would serve as a constructive forum for reflection for all members of the Faculty of Engineering’s leadership to continue improving the quality of education, research, and community service. “We hope that the findings can be thoroughly addressed at every level—whether at the study program, faculty, or university level. Through these efforts, we aim to ensure that every finding from the internal quality audit is properly addressed, and that the quality of education at the Unhas Faculty of Engineering continues to improve,” said Prof. Isran Ramli.
As part of the quality control system within the PPEPP cycle, the RTM also serves as a mechanism to ensure that all findings from audits and evaluations are effectively followed up on. It is hoped that every follow-up measure taken will strengthen the faculty’s overall academic quality and support the achievement of national and international accreditation standards.
