The Blue of the Beach and My Island

(Makassar, August 29, 2015) A social service and community outreach event took place at the Losari Beach Promenade and on Lae-lae Island. This event was part of the 59th UNHAS Anniversary celebrations. Activities included a beach cleanup by UNHAS Community Service Program (KKN) students, health and dental checkups, a blood drive, tree planting, and a rainwater harvesting initiative. The event was opened by the UNHAS Rector and the Mayor of Makassar. The event was also attended by UNHAS Vice Rectors, Deans, BRI executives, and officials from the Makassar City Government.
