The Faculty of Engineering Signs a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation with PLN’s South Sulawesi Construction Headquarters.

The Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University has once again expanded its partnerships by entering into a collaboration with PLN UIP South Sulawesi. This collaboration was formalized with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties. The signing took place on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in the Pustekno CoT Meeting Room on the second floor of the Faculty of Engineering building in Gowa.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed directly by Misdjan Endang Subrata, Contract Supervisor at PLN Persero, as the first party, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ir. Muhammad Isran Ramli, S.T., M.T., IPM., AER., as the second party.

The signing ceremony was also attended by the PLN UIP South Sulawesi team, the Associate Dean for Partnerships, Research, and Innovation, the Chair and Secretary of Pustekno CoT, the Publications Manager, the Chair of the Department of Marine Engineering, and faculty members from the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University.

The purpose of this collaboration is to enhance the quality of human resources as part of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University’s initiatives, and it will be tailored to the needs of PLN UIP South Sulawesi with the goal of fostering synergy between state-owned enterprises and universities as a platform for knowledge transfer.
