Visit by the Head of the Maritime Transportation Research and Development Center to the UNHAS Faculty of Engineering

The Faculty of Engineering at Unhas hosted a visit from the Research and Development Center for Maritime, River, Lake, and Ferry Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation on Thursday, February 28, 2019, in connection with the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Engineering at Unhas and the Research and Development Center for Maritime, River, Lake, and Ferry Transportation. Both parties agreed to collaborate on activities related to the utilization of human resources and laboratories, including:

Research on the Basic Design and Key Plan for a Motorized Container Barge to reduce road traffic congestion between Jakarta and Surabaya

Research on the development of breakwater designs tailored to specific waterways

The signing ceremony took place in the CoT Meeting Room on the 3rd floor of the Unhas Faculty of Engineering.
