COT News Issue 2 features, in its “Welcome” section, an article on support for CoT from universities in Japan, including a message from Prof. Shinichi Hino (Vice President of Kyushu University) and an essay by Prof. Osozawa titled “Let’s Sail with Three Winds.” The “Top News” section features articles on the C-BEST Research Grant, a study on the presence of scandium in lateritic nickel deposits in Sulawesi, a study on the adaptation of Japanese precast concrete technology, and coastal zoning planning for Bantaeng Regency. This issue also presents profiles of two CoT divisions: the Information Technology and Engineering Skills Development Division (Dr. Amil Ahmad Ilham) and the Technology Consulting Division (Dr.-Eng. Ihsan).
