Achieving Another Milestone: Three Study Programs at Hasanuddin University’s Faculty of Engineering Receive “Excellent” Accreditation from the Independent Accreditation Agency for Engineering Study Programs (LAM Teknik)

Three degree programs at the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering received “excellent” accreditation from the Independent Accreditation Agency for Engineering Study Programs (LAM Teknik). The programs that received this accreditation are the Mechanical Engineering program at the doctoral level with a score of 364, the Industrial Engineering program at the undergraduate level with a score of 363, and the Civil Engineering program at the doctoral level with a score of 373.

This accreditation was granted based on several evaluation criteria, including vision, mission, objectives, and strategies; governance and management; collaboration; students; human resources; finances; facilities and infrastructure; education; research; community service; and outcomes and achievements related to the Tri Dharma of higher education. This accreditation is valid for five years, effective Monday, August 21, 2023, and expiring on August 20, 2028, and was signed directly by the Chair of the Executive Committee of LAM Teknik PII, Prof. Dr. –Ing. Ir. Misri Gozan, M.Tech., IPU., ASEAN.Eng.

LAM Teknik is a community-based accreditation agency comprising several institutions in the field of engineering. LAM Teknik is tasked with periodically assessing the eligibility of all engineering study programs—both those planned and those already established—as a form of quality assurance to build trust among the public and the government.
