The Organizing Committee of the International Symposium on Infrastructure Development (ISID–6) Held a Meeting with the Rector of Hasanuddin University.

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ir. Muhammad Isran Ramli, S.T., M.T., IPM., ASEAN Eng., together with the Secretary of the Department of Civil Engineering and the organizing committee of the International Symposium on Infrastructure Development (ISID-6), held a meeting with the rector of Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc. at the University of Hasanuddin Rector’s Office in Makassar on Monday, August 21, 2023.

The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the progress of preparations for the International Symposium on Infrastructure Development (ISID-6), which will be held over two days, August 24–25, 2023, at the Hasanuddin University College of Engineering campus in Gowa.

The symposium will be attended by speakers from various universities, both domestic and international, including Assoc. Prof. Mishima Yuichiro from Saga University, Japan; Assoc. Prof. Azman bin Mohamed from the University of Technology Malaysia; Andi Asiz, Ph.D., P.Eng., from Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Saudi Arabia; Dr. Eng. Rita Irmawaty from Hasanuddin University; Dr. Pornpen Limpainlachat from Mahidol University, Thailand; and Dr. Nahry from the University of Indonesia.

The objective of ISID-6 is to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through scientific and technological advancement, information exchange, and collaboration among engineers and researchers in the fields of civil and environmental engineering practice. All papers accepted and presented at ISID 2023 will be published in the IOP Conference Series.
