Committed to Improving Performance, Department Chairs Across the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University Sign the 2024 Performance Agreement.
To educate faculty members about funding opportunities through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology’s (KEMENDIKBUD RISTEK) Research and Community Service program, the Faculty of Engineering held an information session on Research and Community Service Proposals. The session took place on Thursday, March 21, 2024, in the Exhibition Hall of the CoT Building at the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, Gowa.
The event was attended by faculty members of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University and was officially opened by the Associate Dean for Partnerships, Research, and Innovation of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rustan Tarakka, ST., M.T., IPM., ASEAN. Eng., and featured two speakers: Prof. Dr. Ir. Indrabayu, ST., MT., M.Bus.Sys., IPM, ASEAN. Eng., and the Secretary of the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) at Hasanuddin University, Ir. Suharman Hamzah, ST., MT., Ph.D (Eng).
During this outreach event, the speakers provided an overview of changes to the research and community service programs, general provisions, expected outcomes, and funding amounts. The presentation was interactive and covered practical steps for drafting proposals, with an emphasis on key aspects that require attention. Participants were also given the opportunity to ask questions and discuss various aspects related to funding under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology’s (KEMENDIKBUD RISTEK) Research and Community Service Program.
It is hoped that through this outreach, more Unhas students and faculty members will be motivated to submit research and community service proposals through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology’s Research and Community Service Program. Consequently, it is expected that there will be a significant increase in the quantity and quality of research, as well as tangible contributions to community development.
