Engineering Football 09’s Outstanding Achievement: The 2026 Unhas Cup First-Place Trophy Officially Presented to the Faculty of Engineering
The Engineering Football 09 team officially presented the 2026 Unhas Cup First Place trophy to the leadership of the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering as a token of respect and an expression of gratitude for the institution’s support in fostering students’ interests, talents, and achievements in sports. The presentation of the trophy symbolizes the successful collaboration between students, coaches, alumni, and the academic community in bringing honor to the Faculty of Engineering at the university level.
Engineering Football 09’s success in defending its championship title at the 2026 Unhas Cup reaffirms the Faculty of Engineering’s consistent standing as one of the leading forces in inter-faculty sports competitions at Hasanuddin University. In the final match, the team defeated the Faculty of Economics and Business with a score of 1–0, securing the championship title for the second consecutive time—or as back-to-back champions. The competition was participated in by 12 faculties within Hasanuddin University and took place in a spirit of sportsmanship and competitive rivalry.
The trophy presentation ceremony took place in an atmosphere filled with pride and camaraderie. The players and officials personally presented the trophy to the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering as a symbol of their dedication, affirming that this achievement belongs to the entire faculty family.
