The Hasanuddin University School of Engineering Enters into a Partnership with the University of West Sulawesi

The Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University has entered into a partnership with the University of West Sulawesi. This partnership was formalized with the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two parties. The signing ceremony took place on Monday, March 18, 2024, in the 3rd-floor conference room of the CoT Building at the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, Gowa.

The cooperation agreement was signed by the respective deans of both universities: Prof. Dr. Eng. Ir. Muhammad Isran Ramli, S.T., M.T., IPM., AER., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University, and Dr. Ir. Hafsah Nirwana, M.T., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of West Sulawesi. The signing ceremony was also attended by the Associate Dean for Research Partnerships and Innovation, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rustan Tarakka, S.T., M.T., IPM., ASEAN. Eng., the Associate Dean for Planning, Resources, and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Eng. Ir. Muhammad Rusman, M.T., the Chair of the Department of Computer Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ir. Indrabayu, ST., M.T., M.Bus.Sys., IPM, ASEAN. Eng., Head of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning Engineering Dr. Eng. Abdul Rachman Rasyid, ST., M.Si., First Associate Dean of the Unsulbar Faculty of Engineering Ir. Sugiarto Cokrowibowo, S.S., M.T., Second Associate Dean of the Unsulbar Faculty of Engineering Nur Adyla S, S.T., M.T., Coordinator of the Urban and Regional Planning Program at Unsulbar, Ade Mulawarman, S.T., M.Si; Coordinator of the Civil Engineering Program, Amalia Nurdin, S.T., M.T.; and Coordinator of the Computer Science Program, Muh. Fahmi Rustan, S.Kom., M.T., along with the Cooperation Team and academic staff.

In his remarks, Prof. Isran expressed his hope that this cooperation agreement could be further developed on a larger scale, particularly through joint activities aligned with the Tri Dharma of Higher Education—namely, Teaching, Research, and Community Service.

Meanwhile, Dr. Hafsah expressed her deep gratitude to the Faculty of Engineering at Unhas for welcoming the delegation from Unsulbar and expressed her hope that this collaboration would enhance the performance of both parties.
