The UNHAS Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, held the “MINERBA GOES TO CAMPUS” event

The UNHAS Faculty of Engineering, through the Department of Mining Engineering, has established a partnership with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM)—specifically through the Directorate General of Minerals and Coal—to carry out the “MINERBA GOES TO CAMPUS” program.

The “MINERBA GOES TO CAMPUS” event took place in Lecture Theater 1, 2nd Floor, CSA Building, at the UNHAS Faculty of Engineering Campus in Bontomarannu, Gowa, on Thursday, December 8, 2022. This event served as a forum for exchanging information and raising awareness about the various activities of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources’ Directorate General of Minerals and Coal regarding the management of mineral resources in Indonesia, specifically targeting the academic community—particularly faculty and students—at the UNHAS Faculty of Engineering.

In his opening remarks for the “MINERBA GOES TO CAMPUS” event, the Dean of the UNHAS Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr.Eng. Ir. Muhammad Isran Ramli, ST., MT., IPM., ASEAN. Eng., expressed his appreciation and support for this collaborative initiative, noting in particular that it could serve as a role model for the implementation of the MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) program. The Secretary of the Department of Mining Engineering at the UNHAS Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Aryanti Virtanti Anas, ST., MT., stated in her remarks that this collaborative initiative is a routine activity between the two institutions that has been ongoing for the past two years.

The “MINERBA GOES TO CAMPUS” event was attended by 150 participants, including students and faculty members from the Department of Mining Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, UNHAS. In addition, student participants also came from various other universities across the island of Sulawesi.
