A Student from the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University Wins Second Place in the 2026 International Creative Video SDGs Competition
Students from the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering (FTUH) have once again achieved a remarkable accomplishment. A team of students from the Department of Architecture won Second Place at the International Creative Video SDGs Competition held on Friday, May 15, 2026.
The FTUH team that won the award consisted of:
- Nurul Salsabila (Team Leader) – Student ID D051251045
- Andi Nadine Jarvisyah (Member) – Student ID D051251033
- Aisyah Nurul Pratiwi (Member) – Student ID D051251006
Through a creative video highlighting the theme of implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the team successfully demonstrated their ability to present sustainable development issues in an innovative, communicative, and inspiring way. This international competition was attended by participants from various universities and educational institutions across different countries, making the Second Place achievement a testament to the quality and global competitiveness of FTUH students.
The video produced by the team not only showcased creativity in conveying its message but also emphasized sustainability values aligned with the global development agenda. Through an engaging visual approach and a strong narrative, the work successfully captured the judges’ attention and received high marks among the other participants.
This success represents one of the ways students from the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering contribute to supporting the achievement of the SDGs through creative and innovative media. Furthermore, this achievement is expected to motivate other students to continue developing their skills, participate in international competitions, and produce works that have a positive impact on society.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc., expressed his appreciation for the achievement of these students from the Department of Architecture.

We hope this success will inspire other students to continue creating, innovating, and excelling in various fields,” said the Dean.
This achievement further strengthens the commitment of the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering to fostering the development of student competencies—both academic and non-academic—and to enhancing the institution’s reputation at the national and international levels.
