To Welcome Faculty Members from UGM and ITS, the Department of Marine Engineering at Hasanuddin University Hosts a Guest Lecture.

As part of the 2023 National Seminar on Marine Science and Technology, the Department of Marine Engineering at Hasanuddin University invited guest speakers from Gadjah Mada University and the Sepuluh November Institute of Technology. This event also served as an opportunity to host a guest lecture. The guest lecture was held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, in Room LT1 of the CSA Building, Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, Gowa.

The guest lecture featured two topics. The first topic was “Coastal and Marine Hazards,” presented by Dr. Ir. Wahyudi, M.Sc., a lecturer in Marine Engineering at the Sepuluh November Institute of Technology. The second topic was “Introduction to SWAN and INTERPOL Software,” presented by Prof. Ir. Radianta Triatmadja, Ph.D., a lecturer in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Gadjah Mada University.

The guest lecture was also attended by the Head of the Department of Ocean Engineering at Hasanuddin University, Dr. Ir. Chairul Paotonan, ST., MT., and the Department Secretary, Dr. Hasdinar Umar, S.T., M.T. It was attended by all academic staff, faculty members, and students of the Department of Ocean Engineering at Hasanuddin University.
